The organizing committee of the 2026 International Collaborative Symposium on Development of Human Resources in Practical Oral Health and Treatment is pleased to extend an invitation to researchers to submit abstracts for oral presentations, poster presentations, or symposiums (by invitation only) for facilitating the exchange of perspectives among participants on the current theme.
REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
  1. All participants are kindly requested to complete the registration by providing the necessary information online.
  2. Please click for online registration. After completing the form, kindly select the "SUBMIT" button for complete registration.
  3. Upon completion, the confirmation letter will be automatically sent to your e-mail. Please print the confirmation letter and present it at the registration desk upon your arrival at the conference venue on February 8, 2026 (Sunday). If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact Asst. Prof. Kaung Myat Thwin.

SUMMARY GUIDELINES
  1. First, all symposium speakers/chairs (by invitation only) are requested to register online following the Registration Guidelines.
  2. The titles of the presentation summaries are limited to 20 words or fewer and should be in a title case format, typed in Times New Roman, font size 14.
  3. The authors' names and affiliations should be in Times New Roman, font size 12.
  4. The body of the summaries should be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
  5. Please submit a summary of your presentation based on the designated format.

GENERAL ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
  1. First, all oral/poster presenters are requested to register online following the Registration Guidelines. The abstracts submitted without registration will be excluded.
  2. The Scientific Committee invites the submission of original scientific materials that have never been presented or published at the time of the abstract submission deadline.
  3. Do not submit the same study in multiple abstracts. Abstracts that appear as more than one version of a single study will be rejected.
  4. Each individual may present only one abstract, but their name can be included as a co-author in multiple abstracts.
  5. Presenters must indicate whether they wish to join the poster or oral presentation category. However, the final decision will be made by the committee if the number of submissions for each category exceeds the limit.
  6. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to edit abstracts for publication purposes. However, please be informed that it is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract.
  7. The abstract text is limited to 250 words. (The title, authors, and affiliations are not included in the 250-word limit).
  8. The titles of the abstracts are limited to 20 words or fewer and should be in a title case format, typed in Times New Roman, font size 14.
  9. The authors' names and affiliations should be in Times New Roman, font size 12. Please underline the name of the author presenting the paper.
  10. The body of the abstract should be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
  11. Abstracts should be submitted in clear English, free from grammatical and spelling errors, to allow the reviewers to focus on the scientific content of the abstract.
  12. Abstracts cannot be modified once submitted.
  13. All abstract submissions must strictly follow the template provided. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.

  16. The deadline for abstract submission and conference registration is November 30, 2025. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.

ABSTRACT REVIEW AND SELECTION
  1. The abstract submitted should have significant content in the field of oral health or dentistry.
  2. A panel of experts will review the abstracts for necessary revisions and suitability before accepting the final version for submission.
  3. Only one presentation is allowed per participant as a presenter.
  4. The corresponding/ presenting author will receive a confirmation of acceptance for oral or poster presentation via email by December 31, 2025. Presentation guidelines will be provided upon confirmation of abstract acceptance.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
If the author wishes to withdraw their abstract, they are requested to do so in writing via email to Asst. Prof. Kaung Myat Thwin before January 14, 2026.
OTHER
Before abstract submission, ensure that the following are agreed upon by all authors:
  1. Be aware that their names will appear on the abstract, and all authors agree to the submission and presentation of the results.
  2. Understand that the poster and/or oral presentation may be photographed, videotaped, and/or recorded via other media means during the symposium.
  3. Understand that all possible patent and copyright issues must be resolved before submission.

POSTER GUIDELINES
  1. The poster dimensions should be followed the portrait orientation of A0 size poster (841 mm × 1189 mm) and can be printed on either paper or cloth.
  2. The poster should include a title, names of the authors and affiliations at the top. It is recommended to include a small recent photo of the presenter in the top corner of the poster.
  3. The poster number should not be placed on your poster since the poster number will be provided on the poster board.
  4. The equipment for poster setting will be provided.
  5. Please keep the poster clear and concise, avoiding overcrowding with excessive text. There are no restrictions on font type and size for poster presentations.
  6. The poster should be mounted on February 8, 2026 07:30 - 08:30 and should be removed on February 9, 2026 17:15 - 18:00. The poster being left after February 9, 2026 18:00 will be discarded by the organizing committee.
  7. The poster presentation will be performed at a designated time. Please make sure to stand at your poster 15 minutes before your presentation time. The chairs will visit your poster to start your presentation.
  8. The presentation time and poster number will be announced a few days before the symposium.
ORAL / SYMPOSIUM PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
  1. Presentations must be prepared in Power-point; other formats will not be supported. However, it is recommended to prepare a PDF file as a backup.
  2. Please use a 16:9 format for your slides. The font type should be in a system font or web-safe font. There are no restrictions on font size for Power-point presentation.
  3. Presentation should be saved to a USB drive or other portable format, and handed it in to the scientific program committee during the registration time.
  4. Please name your Power-point file using the time of your presentation (24-hour format) followed by your surname. (e.g. 10.30_Thwin.pptx.)
  5. Use of personal computers will not be permitted.
  6. If you have videos or audios, they must be embedded in the presentation. We strongly advise that you upload and test it well before your presentation.
  7. Presentation preview is imperative for every presenter. Please check your presentation data at the preview desk in the morning of your presentation day during registration.
ACCOMMODATION / HOTEL RESERVATION
All participants (except invited deans and Niigata University's participants) are requested to book directly a hotel room in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The organizing committee will not be responsible for making room reservations.
FOR DEANS (INVITATION ONLY)
  1. All deans (by invitation only) are requested to register online following the REGISTRATION GUIDELINES.
  2. Niigata University will cover your flight and accommodation for attending the symposium.
  3. Please note that arrangement for flight booking and payment is your responsibility. Please keep and bring your receipts to the registration desk at the conference venue for re-imbursement.
  4. Regarding the hotel booking, if you wish to stay at the hotel of the conference venue, we are delighted to assist you with the booking process. Please click to provide your information by December 31, 2025.
